ECO-MINDED SWIM

Swimming Sustainably

It is our mission to swim more sustainably. We are dedicated to sourcing the highest quality recycled & regenerated fabrics to produce our swimwear. We currently use a mix of Italian and American made fabrics that are created from recycled plastic bottles or upcycled from salvaged ocean waste.

All our swimwear fabrics are certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which means they were tested for harmful substances.

Our printed swimwear is digitally printed using all Eco-Certified Huntsman Dyes from the US.

Give Back Initiatives

We believe a bikini can be more than just a bikini - it can be an ode to the beautiful places it is worn and the oceans it swims through. Every Rhea Bikinis print is designed in-house and created with the intention to give back to environmental causes.

Plastic-Free & Compostable Packaging

From day one we have always used plastic-free, compostable and recycled packaging materials when shipping to our consumers.

We strive to be as plastic-free as we can, starting with biodegradable bikini bags, made out of Cassava flour, which are used by our manufacturer to ship our swimwear to us and then us to you.

Our hangtags are made with seed paper that can grow wildflowers or will compost in your trash. We also use recycled poly-mailers made of 100% recycled content, 50% post-consumer waste, and feature a dual adhesive strip for reuse.

Ethical Manufacturing

Our swimwear is made with love in Bali, Indonesia by a team with over 32 years of experience in the garment industry.

They are recognized by the Indonesian government for paying their employees well above minimum wage, providing free medical insurance, optional overtime and operating in a safe, air-conditioned facility.

They also share our passion for giving back and through their organization support a local charity that assists in the rehabilitation of street children & mums in Bali.
